Personal Finance Tip of the Week: Limit Your Credit Cards to One

Credit card companies are really good at making things appear to be more then what they seem. They offer you credit cards at 0% interest rate with a $2,000 for the first year, but neglect to tell you how much the interest rate will be after those 12 months are over. For those who have been through the nightmare of credit card debt and how fast it can accumulate will tell you to never even look at a credit card.

But for the sake of your credit, it’s good to have at least one. In order for your credit score to really improve, if that’s your reason for getting one, it’s good to have at least one credit card. Credit cards are considered revolving credit, and as long as you are responsible with using it and making your payments on time its sure to make a difference.
